Waterware speak with Rahul Chand, who is a homeowner, and developer at Simpson Construction. This case study examines the successful implementation of Waterware tapware and bathroomware solutions across residential projects, including spec builds and personal residences, demonstrating Waterware's versatility and reliability in high-end residential applications.

As a developer/homeowner, what were the main factors that influenced your decision to choose Waterware for this project?

I have been using Waterware for some time in our spec builds due to their exceptional quality and most importantly, their after sales care. Anyone in the industry knows it’s quite time consuming to return to site to replace faulty product, and those issues do add up in cost. With Waterware, only once has a product needed replacement and it was extremely easy for me as a developer and it was quite easy for the home owner. It’s a combination of great price, quality, and after sales care.

Were there any specific challenges or obstacles you encountered or were aware of during the installation process, and how did Waterware’s products or support help overcome them?

I believe the most interesting use of Waterware products is the hand held trigger/body spray in our dog wash. This makes it very easy to give our dog a quick bath without having to turn on and off the water. Just set it to the temperature and use the trigger, a big favourite.

Product Performance: From your experience, how did Waterware’s tapware products perform in terms of durability, functionality, and aesthetics in residential settings? You mentioned how much you liked the Doppia kitchen mixer, it would be great to hear the reasons and benefits you have found.

I mentioned Waterware products’ quality and reliability above, but the products are visually amazing – they look so great, I used them in my own home personally and my own parents place. I do enjoy being able to tell clients that I use the product in my own home that I’m selling them.

The Doppia Kitchen Mixer is my wifes favourite – we have one of your largest dual sinks and the pull out spout makes it super easy to clean the entire sink and keep its minimalist aesthetic.

Waterware’s Solution: How did you find Waterware’s tapware product offering  in terms of design, functionality, and sustainability?  Are there products that Waterware don’t offer that you would like to see in our offering?

I think it would be good if you guys offered your mirror cabinets in different colour options, and pot fillers (my wife originally wanted one of these which she later changed her mind on, Margaret Jane did source this for us however, had we wished to use it)

Expanding Expertise: Based on your experience with Waterware, how do you see the company’s expertise and capabilities future projects, such as new homes, renovations, or affordability?

I think Waterware hits the nail on the head with a great balance between aesthetic tap/bathroom ware, price, after sales care and service. I genuinely believe the only area you could improve on is more products as mentioned above.
