Messana mBox10 Programmable Control Unit

The mBox10 is a high-performance HVAC controller in the Messana Controls BLACK SERIES, the simple one-box solution for controlling hydronic systems with a focus on radiant cooling and heating applications. It serves up to 10 zones and is typically installed in the mechanical room, acting as both the main controller and zoning module.

Crafted with precision and durability in mind, the mBox10 is assembled with industrial-grade components, making it an ideal choice for high-end residential and light commercial applications. It offers exceptional control over various hydronic distribution terminals, whether individually or in combination. These include ceiling panels, radiant floors, hydronic fan coils, and more. With advanced proprietary logic, it optimizes Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), manages humidity, and facilitates natural enthalpy ventilation.

Specifically tailored for 2-pipe hydronic systems, the mBox10 efficiently regulates energy flow from sources such as heat pumps, chillers, and boilers. This ensures optimal comfort in multi-zone systems, controlling buffer tank temperatures, executing intelligent heating and cooling changeovers based on real-time conditions, activating circulator pumps, and precisely managing radiant fluid temperature through a 3-way mixing valve.

In addition to radiant systems, it also expertly manages Messana Air Treatment Units (ATUs), ERV/HRV units, and uniquely employs smart technology for optimized control of Domestic Hot Water (DHW) systems.
